HUMBLED and HONORED to be in the presence of a 100 YEAR OLD MAN.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

His name is Harold Tate. WW2 Veteran, and 1st African American NYPD Sargent in Manhattan, He’s been married for 64 years. On Memorial Day,this Monday, I am going to tell his story. This man is extremely articulate, and still walks on his own with only the assistance of a walker. After he was done interviewing with me, THIS 100 year old man, got up, and the NYPD escorted him to the 113 station house was he was honored in person.

Sometimes I can’t remember what day it is, and this man is razor-sharp at 100. Born in 1915. You can actually see for yourself Monday at 6 pm on Verizon FiOS News/RNN TV on online if you are not in the New York Tri-State Area.

TRUE LOVE STORY. In 1948, his wife had just finished the nurse program and was working in Harlem Hospital. He was one of the cops that would bring people in. One thing led to another, and the rest is history.

Oh, by the way, the letter from President Obama, and the First Lady was on the table, offering congrats on the 100 milestone.
