NYC Deputy Commissioner refuses sweetheart deal for campaign donor.
In his first TV interview, with journalist Dominic Carter, this is the remarkable account of NYC former Deputy Commissioner Ricardo Morales.
Mr. Morales had a long honorable career in government and actually received the city’s highest ethical award, but says he was fired after he refused to go along with a “sweetheart deal” with taxpayer money for a campaign contributor to NYC Mayor Bill Deblasio.
