WASHINGTON – Two Florida races that were among the most closely watched political contests in the country appeared headed for a recount amid lawsuits and charges of election fraud. Three days after the election, no winner had been declared in the state’s races for governor and U.S. Senate. Both remained too close to call with lots of ballots still to be counted.
